SQUEEZY ATHLETIC DIET PLAN SUGGESTION – THE SQUEEZY DIET four day course

Days 1-3
In the first three days, we recommend taking at least 16 desert spoons (225g daily total -5 x 45g. portions) of Squeezy Athletic distributed evenly across the day. Preferably use plain mineral water so as not to add calories. Alternatively, the powder is very easily combined with skimmed milk or perhaps buttermilk. Squeezy Athletic can be mixed to varying consistencies, anything from a light drink to a thick paste. Squeezy Athletic can be consumed immediately after mixing, or left to stand for fifteen minutes or so, in which time it will thicken further. If Squeezy Athletic is to be mixed with dairy products, such as low-fat natural yoghurt, ensure that the packaging is labelled “suitable for diabetics”. This means that the fat burning effect will not be interrupted by incremental sugars and Squeezy Athletic will work to maximum effect. At least two litres of fluid should be consumed each day. Fruit juices contain sugar, which raises blood sugar level and hinders the burning of fat. Alcohol should also be avoided. Herbal teas and savoury hot beverages, made from sparing amounts of ‘Bovril’, ‘Marmite’ or ‘Oxo’, can make tasty, low-calorie, savoury hot drinks. Vegetable juices, with no added sugar, are also very low in calories. Avoid beverages containing any sugar, as simple sugars interfere with and interrupt the body’s fat burning process.

Day 4 “You Choose”
Day four is “You Choose” day, so you eat what you like, within reason. Do make sure you consume healthy carbohydrates and fresh vegetables at regular set-meal times. Avoid snacking - and fatty foods. Avoid all sugar. Use Squeezy Athletic Tabs to cover any hunger pangs. Carefully count the total calories and keep the daily intake to a maximum of around 1300 kcals for a man and 1000 kcals for a woman.

And repeat…
The four day course can be repeated until the desired weight loss has been achieved. However, if any health problems pre-exist, your doctor should be consulted before embarking on any calorie control regime. Weight loss programmes for children, the infirm or the elderly should only ever be instigated after consulting a doctor.

Interruption of the plan
Circumstances can make following the plan impossible. When absolutely unavoidable, simply suspend the plan, make the healthiest choices available, attempt to calorie control - and resume as soon as possible. Squeezy Athletic Tabs can be very useful in situations where mixing a drink is impossible.

Intense physical activity
Physically active people, such as sports competitors, may benefit from a higher intake of calories and will need to re-load with carbohydrate after intense activity. This is best done with a high-carbohydrate meal based on pasta, rice, or potatoes – or a sports nutrition carbohydrate product from the Squeezy range. Squeezy Athletic should be substituted for other meals as necessary to control calorie intake to the desired amount.

The ‘weigh in…
Weigh yourself unclothed, first thing in the morning, on each forth day of the plan (before eating breakfast on each ‘day off’). You will then see the rapid and progressive loss of weight being achieved.

‘One Meal a Day’ – to replace two or three Squeezy Athletic servings

For your ‘You Choose’ day, or ‘One Meal a Day’, as previously detailed

Here follows a list of foods that are suitable when Squeezy Athletic is not being used – for instance on the ‘day off’. Sugar must be avoided, and calories should be counted and maintained at the necessary total daily level – no more than approximately 1300 kcals for a man and 1000 for a woman. Fatty, high calorie foods are also obviously to be avoided, as well as alcohol. Food should not be cooked by frying. Processed, pre-prepared and restaurant food should be avoided as it is often heavy on fat, sugar and salt.

If an evening meal is to be included it should be taken at the earliest possible opportunity. The body is more likely to store excess energy as fat if a meal is taken close to bedtime. 

Vegetables – these have a low calorific value

  • Any fresh, green, yellow or red vegetables (not tinned, as sugar is often added)
  • Pulses and beans, such as peas and lentils, and all types of fresh beans
  • Salad stuffs, tomatoes and pimentos
  • Mushrooms
  • Nuts (in moderation – high calorific value)

Carbohydrate staples and cereal foods – but watch the calories and use in moderation!

  • Pasta, Noodles, cous-cous
  • Rice
  • Wholemeal bread and savoury pastry
  • Wholegrain breakfast cereals, without added sugar or fruit
  • Potatoes,  boiled or baked - not fried

Meats, poultry and fish

  • Fish, boiled or grilled – not fried or battered
  • Lean poultry, such as chicken or turkey breast
  • Lean red meat (grilled only, and in moderation)
  • Ham and other cured cold meats – lean only
  • Low fat vegetarian meat alternatives, such as Quorn, soya mince/chunks or tofu

Dairy products

  • Skimmed milk
  • Low fat, unsweetened yoghurt
  • Buttermilk – which is naturally low in fat
  • Eggs

NB. Use milk or low fat natural yoghurt with Squeezy Athletic for a sweet dessert

Flavourings and sauces – to use with fish, lean meats, pasta and rice

  • Herbs, spices and garlic
  • Curry or chilli powder
  • White sauce (as for pasta and fish), made with skimmed or soya milk
  • Tomato sauce (as for pasta), made with chopped plumb tomatoes and herbs

Beverages and liquids

  • Plenty of mineral water - at least two litres per day to hydrate, fill and detoxify
  • Regular and herbal unsweetened teas, with no sugar
  • Savoury, hot ‘beef tea’, such as Bovril, OXO - or *Marmite  drinks (*vegetarian)
  • Tomato or vegetable juices, with no added sugar
  • Soya milk, but the unsweetened type only

These foods provide plenty of scope to make a wide variety of appetising, wholesome and healthy meals which can be supplemented with Squeezy Athletic to provide an efficient and sustainable low calorie diet.
